Quality Assurance

In an effort to meet the needs and expectations of our customers through excellent service quality management VECOL is aimed at activities that determine the policy, objectives and responsibilities in terms of quality and its implementation through methods as planning, control, assurance and continuous process improvement within the quality assurance system, which is supported on two fundamental rules: GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization) that have evolved from the globalization of the economy and they are what allow us to compete with our products domestically and internationally.

The basics elements of quality management are:

a. Adequate infrastructure or "System of Quality Management" which covers the structure, procedures, processes and institutional resources.

b. Systematic actions necessary to achieve sufficient confidence that a product (or service) meets certain quality requirements of the customer.

All of these measures is called "Quality Assurance".

The main function is to direct, coordinate and control all activities related to quality control, quality assurance and technical services to both internal customers (VECOL) and external (INVIMA, ICA, consumers, suppliers, laboratories or manufacturing companies ).

Quality control is the part of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) referred to sampling, specifications, testing and approval procedures and organization that ensure the effective implementation of relevant trials to prevent the movement, sale and supply of materials and products until they are determined to be of satisfactory quality.

While Quality Assurance is defined in practical terms it as all technical and administrative tools that prevent errors are not detected by quality control tests. From this perspective, compliance with the requirements of GMP standards, ISO and Biosafety is the soul of quality assurance VECOL.
